Cartgo is built on a local-first storage strategy. This means:

• All your data stays on your device – Your shopping lists, saved products, tags, and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad.
• iCloud sync is optional and secure – If you enable iCloud, your data syncs between your Apple devices using Apple's end-to-end encryption. We never have access to this data.
• No third-party servers – We do not upload, store, or process your shopping data on any external servers.

Because of our privacy-first design, we do NOT collect, store, or have access to:

• Your shopping lists or saved product information
• Product URLs you save in the app
• Tags, categories, or organizational preferences
• Search queries within the app
• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Your browsing history or shopping behavior
• Location data
• Device identifiers (unless required for basic app functionality)

To ensure Cartgo works properly and to improve the app, we may collect minimal, anonymous technical information:

• Crash reports: If the app crashes, we may receive anonymous diagnostic data to help us fix bugs (you can opt out of this in iOS Settings).
• App analytics: Basic usage statistics like which features are used most often, but never tied to your identity or specific content.
• Device type and OS version: To ensure compatibility and optimize performance.

This data is aggregated and anonymized, meaning it cannot be used to identify you personally.

Local Storage

All your shopping data is stored in a secure database on your device using Apple's CoreData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is synchronized across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. This sync is:

• Encrypted by Apple using industry-standard encryption
• Accessible only by you through your Apple ID
• Not accessible by Icemagpie Inc. or any third parties
• Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy

You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device settings, and your local data will remain intact.

Cartgo may use the following third-party services:

• Apple iCloud: For optional data synchronization across your devices. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• App Store: For app distribution and updates. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics trackers, or other data collection services commonly found in apps.

When you save a product by pasting a URL, Cartgo may:

• Fetch public product information (title, price, image) from the website to display in your list
• Store this information locally on your device
• Cache product images temporarily for faster loading

This process happens entirely on your device. We do not track which products you save, which websites you visit, or how you organize your shopping lists.

We take the security of your data seriously:

• All data stored on your device is protected by iOS security features
• If you use iCloud, data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
• We follow Apple's security best practices in app development
• The app works fully offline, reducing exposure to network-based threats

However, please note that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We recommend keeping your device updated with the latest iOS version and using strong device passcodes.

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is accessible directly within the app at any time
• Export: You can share or export your shopping lists from within the app
• Delete: You can delete individual items, entire lists, or all app data from the app settings
• Opt-out of analytics: You can disable crash reports and analytics in your iOS Settings under Privacy

Since we don't collect your personal data on our servers, there's nothing for us to delete on our end – you are in complete control.

Cartgo is safe for users of all ages. Since we don't collect personal information, we don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require registration, account creation, or any personal information to use.

Cartgo is available worldwide through the Apple App Store. Since all data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account, your data stays in your control regardless of where you are located.

If you use iCloud sync, your data storage location is managed by Apple according to your Apple ID settings and Apple's privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we make significant changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
• Notify you through the app or on our website
• In some cases, request your consent if required by law
